We would like to congratulate our National Sales Manager, Gus Lake, who undertook his annual Charity contribution. This year he decided to part take in a winter swim to raise much needed awareness and funds for two charities, close too his heart. He split the money 50/50 between the Dementia Care Partnership and the NSPCC.

Generous Gus geared up, to dip into the bracing briny of the North Sea on a chilly Sunday morning in January. We would like to take this opportunity to show our deep gratitude to Gus in displaying tangible support for his chosen charities and hope others, will be inspired by Gus taken the dip into the waters, by dipping into their purse or wallet and help boost donations to these charities.

Few people would have the courage and determination to swim the North Sea in freezing cold temperatures, Gus says ‘‘I brought my daughters dog Fry along for some support and as I slowly walked into the icy waters, he rushed passed me and headed straight confidently into the sea, so I followed suit and it was splish splash from there. I try my best to do something every year for charities and this year was great fun and the most important part is that I raised some much needed money for the deserving charities.’’
